THIS SUNDAY:

What happens after you die? Is Heaven real? If so, what’s it like? These are questions that have been asked for centuries and are still cause for wonder.

As we conclude our series we come to a story that Jesus tells in Luke 16. Most scholars agree that since this story does not start with the familiar line: "And He told them a parable...", that Jesus here is referring to a real incident. That would make sense because after all, who but the One who came from the throne of God could accurately portray the facts about eternity?

But no matter whether this is an actual story or a fictional one, it has many important truths for us. The primary theme is concerned with the consequences of living selfishly but this incident also gives us one of our richest Biblical glimpses into eternity.
