King David was said to be a man “after God’s own heart.” He ruled his country for decades with courage, love and wisdom. Yet, with all his accolades, David was not perfect. In fact, he committed a heinous sin! His sin is described in the book of 2 Samuel but his release from the guilt of that sin is described in Psalm 32.
As we continue in our series we come to a serious bump in the road of life: Guilt. One psychologist told Billy Graham that up to 70% of those in mental facilities could be released if they could just find forgiveness and escape their guilt. Well, this song from David can help. For David knew how crushing guilt could be but he also knew the freedom of being able to wash off the “Grime of Guilt.”
