"Changing How we Internalize Christ"

A young, hip, women's ministry of Faith Christian Church dedicated to the fellowship of women of all ages

Hey Ladies, 

I wanted to take a minute to let you know what CHIC’s is all about.  It’s about you, and me, and building relationships with other women of faith or those interested in learning a bit more about what it means to be a Christian but who are for some reason or another fearful of all things “churchy”.    

We all need time to recharge – I know as women we have a tendency to go until we drop. We want to be everything to everyone.  The unfortunate impact of this is that we end up exhausted and do no one any good – least of all ourselves!   

 

So with CHIC’s we do stuff just for fun.  We have: hit the beach, had dinner, had more dinner, gone roller skating, had Thanksgiving & Christmas parties, held clothing swaps, tried the movies, talked about books, dancing, and concerts, sponsored some of youth group CHIC-let’s, prayed for each other during crisis, and lifted up praise for the joys in our worlds!  There is so much more and we only have 12 months in the year!  

 

Please become part of this amazing group. We try to include everyone by mixing up days of the week, locations around town, and alternating things that cost with things that don’t whenever possible.  We have been steadily growing and lately have had almost 20 women of all ages to our gatherings.  I love what this ministry is doing in this church and am proud to be part of it.
