History of Faith

 

 

In 1996, Faith Christian Church began with Minister Pat Mooney and a small group of people from Westside Christian Church who had a vision to plant a church in East Bradenton.

With a united vision, Suncoast Christian Church, led by Minister Ed Kelley, joined Faith Christian Church. The Suncoast Christian Church building was sold and the services were moved to Haile Middle School.

In 1998, the money raised from the sale of the Suncoast building were used to purchase 25 acres of property on Lorraine.

In 1998, Scott Clark and his family moved to Bradenton relocating from Illinois. Scott was hired as the Senior Pastor.   The services continued in Haile Middle School while construction was underway on the new property.

In March 2001, Faith Christian Church held the first service in the new $1.2 million multipurpose building. As a group of 80 people, Faith Christian Church witnessed many miracles God worked for them.

Today you are here because many years ago people began praying that God would draw people to Him in East Bradenton.
